When I am burdened by life, I choose to nurture myself first before responding to pressure.


 

Nicknamed the “Restful Blend” this oil combines layers of benefits that help both the mind and body find rest and stillness from the inside out and encourages us to act from the wellspring of peace, trust, and compassion.

The oils included in this blend are a combo of mostly grounding trees and roots and embracing florals.

Lavender- calms the nervous system and turns on the calming parasympathetic response, reducing feelings of fight or flight

Cedarwood- centers the mind and heart to feel connected and not alone

Ho Wood- nourishing and uplifting to the mind

Ylang Ylang- relaxes and uplifts the heart for a feeling of childlike joy and peace

Marjoram- soothes muscles and softens the heart to let go and choose trust

Roman Chamomile- quiets a racing mind and connects the heart to a sense of purpose

Vetiver- deeply grounds the body and stills thoughts for profound sense of security

Vanilla Bean- while not an essential oil, but an absolute extraction added for smell, vanilla adds warmth and comforting notes to the blend

Hawaiian Sandalwood- silences mental chatter and promotes a meditative state of total peace

This blend is a great one to diffuse before bed and during sleep for deeper, more tranquil and nourishing rest. If you struggle with twitchy legs before bed, tense muscles, or just have trouble settling down in the evening, apply a drop of Serenity to the top of your head and the back of your neck to send the signal to wind down directly the brain and the rest of the body via the nervous system. You may also choose to diffuse it during the day at home or work if you struggle with feeling overwhelmed by the constant feeling or pressure of needing to do more.
